  • Self introduction ( Tell me about youself) :

(A) Greetings :

  • We use two types of greetings :- I.  Formal II.  Informal

I. Formal :

-Hello!                                               -Good Morning!

-Good Afternoon!                            -Good Evening!

II. Informal :

-Hey !                                                 – What’s up?

-Hi !                                                   – Hiya !

-Yo!                                                    – What’s good ?[wp_ad_camp_2]

(B) Your Name :

  • I’m………..                                 I’m Sikandar Bihari.
  • I am ………….                           I am Sikandar Bihari.
  • My name is……….                  My name is Sikandar Bihari.
  • My name’s………                     My name’s Sikandar Bihari.

(C) Location :

  • I’m from……….                              I’m from India.
  • I’m…………                                     I’m Indian.
  • I come From……..                        I come from India.
  • I was born and raised in…….    I was born and raised in India or, I was born in Bihar but raised in Delhi.
  • I grew up in….but now in….      I grew up in Bihar but now live in Delhi.
  • I’m originally from…but I’m now based in…..  I’m originally from Bihar but I’m now based in Delhi.
  • I’ve been living in….

(D) Position and Company :

  • I work at/for ‘Company’  in the ……department.  I work at/for Jigyasa Telecom in the marketing department.
  • I’m a/an ‘position’ at ‘company’.                             I’m a manager at State Bank of India.
  • I work in a ‘general area’.                                         I work in sales.
  • I work as a/an…….                                                   I work as a deputy manager./ I work as an accountant.

(E) Qualifications:

  • I’m about to graduate.
  • I am a ‘subject’ graduate.                I am a Commerce graduate.
  • I have a bachler of art/commerce/science/maths degree.
  • I’m currently taking a course in ‘subjecr’.  I’m currently taking a course in maths.
  • ..course in ‘ theoretical/practical subject’.
  • I’m taking a ‘subject course’.
  • I have completed a ‘time’ course in/on ‘subject’.
  • ‘number unit of time’        A 72-hour ‘subject’ course.

(F) Experience:

  • I have ‘number’ years of experience in the ‘occupation’ field.  eg.- I have 3 years of experience in the neuroscience field.
  • I have ‘number’ years of ‘occupation’ experience.
  • I’ve worked in the ‘occupation’ field for ‘unit of time’. eg.- I’ve worked in the accounting field for 3 years.

(G) Family:

  • I have a brother/sister/mum and dad.
  • I am from a family of ‘number’.
  • I am one of ‘number’  siblings.
  • I am an only child.

(H) Hobbies:

  • I really like running.
  • I really enjoy tennis.
  • I’m a big fan of ‘hobby’.
  • I am a keen ‘noun’.

(I) Age:

  • I am ‘number’ years old.
  • I’m ‘number’.
  • I’m in my ‘early/mid/late’ + ‘decade’. eg.- I’m in my mid-twenties. She’s in her early teens. He’s in his late-forties.
  • She’s/he’s a ‘age-something’. eg.- She’s a twenty-something marketing graduate. He’s a thirty-something accountant.

(J) Fun Fact:

  • An interesting fear.
  • A weird like or dislike.
  • facts about your pet.
